An exhibition on Guido Crepax’s Valentina is opening in Foyles Bookshop, London on 20th October to coincide with the publication of Crepax’s Valentina graphic novel The Magic Lantern for the first time in English.

The exhibition gives an insight into the life and work of the late Italian illustrator and graphic artist Guido Crepax who originally created Valentina, inspired by the 1920s silent movie star Louise Brooks.

Guido Crepax’s Valentina is reincarnated in Evie Blake’s Valentina Trilogy as a contemporary heroine.

The exhibition is running until 31st October.
